He disclosed that this was necessary as elections in Nigeria were tools used by the callous politicians and those in power to renew the slavery of various ethnic nationalities.

The leader of a self-determination group, the Midwest Movement People of Nigeria, Don Pedro Obaseki, has said that Nigerians under the tyrannical rule of President Muhammadu Buhari should begin to neglect all processes of the next general elections.

He disclosed that this was necessary as elections in Nigeria were tools used by the callous politicians and those in power to renew the slavery of various ethnic nationalities.

Obaseki said this at a press conference of the Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS).

The theme of the conference was 'Taking Back Our Sovereignty' held at 1, Jubilee Way, Magodo, Lagos on Tuesday and monitored by SaharaReporters.

"Elections are the mechanism in which the constitutional fraud is renewed every four years in Nigeria," Obaseki said.

He challenged all peoples under NINAS across the globe to support the ideologies of the group to break away from Nigeria whose constitution has been rejected hence making Nigeria nonexistent.

In his speech read on behalf of Prof Banjo Akintoye, President of Ilana Omo Oodua, Obaseki said, "Those voting in Nigeria are renewing and reinforcing their own defamation and slavery.

"Therefore, you should not only boycott the elections but start to cut the processes of next general elections."
