It was learnt that on Monday Doumbouya asked President Conde's ministers and other top officials to return all their official vehicles.
Doumbouya-led soldiers on Sunday overthrew President Conde and took over government following many hours of gun duel around the presidential palace in Conakry, the country's capital.
Doumbouya accused Conde’s government of “trampling on the rights of citizens” and "disrespecting “democratic principles”.
He also declared that the civilian government has been dissolved and the country's land borders have been shut down.
Meanwhile, Antonio Guterres, the United Nations Secretary-General, while condemning the military takeover, called for an immediate release of the captured President Conde.
The African Union (AU) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) have also threatened sanctions.
The US state department also said violence and extra-constitutional measures could erode Guinea’s prospects for stability and prosperity.
“These actions could limit the ability of the United States and Guinea’s other international partners to support the country,” the US said.
