The management of the Federal University, Otuoke, FUO in Bayelsa State, has postponed all examinations to have commenced today (on Monday) for 200 - 400 levels students indefinitely.

The angry student blocked the main campus gates and denied its management access to administration blocks.
Speaking with SaharaReporters on the phone, the school's vice-chancellor, Professor Charles Addais said the step taken was to douse attention within the school environment and allow for peaceful dialogue.
According to him, the protest was unwarranted.
He said out of the 10,000 students in the school, only 44 students who failed to complete their registration were affected.
He said the school was already attending to the issues on the ground before the protest.
“The matter has been resolved and examination postponed for a week, and to resume on Monday next week. The school will hold a meeting on Thursday to resolve all grievances,” he said.
Some students have accused the school management of extortion and demanded a reduction of tuition fees.
The school was established in 2011 by the Nigerian government.
It is in the hometown of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
