Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, disclosed this in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

Sowore described such a protest as long overdue, noting that the failure of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to provide adequate security for the lives and property of citizens is 'intergenerational'.

He also urged southern Nigerians in the UK to join their northern counterparts and actively participate in the protest.

"Northerners resident in the UK will tomorrow stage a protest on the ongoing massive and unprecedented insecurity in Northern Nigeria starting from Trafalgar Square to the Nigerian High Commission, London.

"This is long overdue. The failure of the genocidal Buhari regime is intergenerational especially in the security of lives and properties. At no time in Nigerian history were innocent and defenseless civilians massacred by state and non-state actors like today. I call on not only Northerners but all Nigerians resident in the UK to actively participate in this protest," the activist said.

The country has been at the mercy of terrorists and bandits who kill and kidnap Nigerians at will, especially in the North.

The situation recently #NorthIsBleeding, leading to online and street protests to draw attention to the worsening insecurity in Northern Nigeria.
