Nigerian Exams Body, JAMB Introduces Two New Subjects To UTME

This was contained in JAMB weekly bulletin released on Monday in Abuja, noting that candidates sitting the UTME could now pick Computer Studies or Physical and Health Education as part of the four required UTME subjects.

Computer Studies and Physical and Health Education have been introduced as part of the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination subjects by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). 
This was contained in JAMB weekly bulletin released on Monday in Abuja, noting that candidates sitting the UTME could now pick Computer Studies or Physical and Health Education as part of the four required UTME subjects.

The addition is said to enhance the career prospect of students transiting to tertiary institutions. 
With the addition, there are now 25 UTME subjects, including Agricultural Science, Arabic, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Christian Religious Studies, Commerce, Economics, French, Geography, Government, Hausa, History, and Home Economics.
Others are Igbo, Islamic Studies, Literature in English, Mathematics, Music, Physics, Principles of Accounts, Use of English, and Yoruba.
