Zainab Kazeem, the Special Assistant to the President on Domestic and Social Events, Office of the First Lady, who was sacked by Aisha Buhari last Friday, was not treated with dignity.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed in a statement on Saturday that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved with effect from February 11, “the disengagement of Zainab Kazeem, the Special Assistant to the President on Domestic and Social Events, Office of the First Lady”.
The statement said it was at the insistence of the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, adding that the President also approved the immediate redeployment of three of the political appointees in her office to the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, pending their assignment to some other government departments or agencies.
“Those affected by the redeployment are Dr Mohammed Abdulrahman who was Senior Special Assistant to the President on Health and Development Partners and Personal Physician to the First Lady; Hadi Uba who was Special Assistant to the President on Administration and Wole Aboderin who was Special Assistant to the President on Non-Governmental Organisations,” it added.

“In fact, Aisha is cold, the mother of Zainab came to visit, and while having lunch, she received the information via the internet and a source.
“Zainab was sacked just like that; she (Aisha Buhari) didn’t even give 60 days’ notice in advance. Right now, she is packing her things. She stays and Guzape, close to COZA (The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly) in Abuja,” a source in the Presidency told SaharaReporters on Sunday.
President Buhari later approved the appointment of two personal aides for the First Lady, Aisha.
Shehu announced this in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, A’isha Rimi will serve as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legal Matters Office of the First Lady.
Buhari also named Zabah Muhammad Jawa as a Personal Physician to the First Lady.
The statement reads, "A’isha Rimi, a law graduate of the University of Buckingham in England, is appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legal Matters, Office of the First Lady.

"A’isha is a resourceful administrative executive and a founding partner at Africa Law Practice, a commercial law firm in Nigeria.
"The President has also approved the appointment of Dr Zabah Muhammad Jawa as Personal Physician to the First Lady.
"Dr Jawa is a Senior Consultant in Nuclear Medicine and European Certified in Nuclear Medicine.
"He is a Fellow of the College of Radiologists of Nigeria and Fellow of the South African College of Nuclear Physicians."
The development comes amid the ongoing shakeup at the Presidential Villa. However, no reason has been given for the shakeup.
