AAC Party Commiserates With Family, University Of Benin On Death Of Slain Final-year Student, Susan Oboh

The Edo State chapter of the African Action Congress (AAC) has commiserated with the University of Benin and the family of the slain 600-level Pharmacy student of the school, Miss Susan Oboh.

In a statement released by the party on Thursday, it called on the state government to beef up security in the state.

The party lamented the silence of the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, who is the chief security officer of the state.

Miss Oboh Susan was killed by men suspected to be armed robbers on Thursday, March 3, 2022, around Osasogie street as she was returning to her hostel located off-campus

She was said to have died at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital last Saturday night following futile efforts by medical personnel to save her life.

Oboh was shot as she was seeing off her visitor at the Osasogie area, a community close to the university gate.

The deceased was rushed to the university teaching hospital while funds were raised through various social media platforms.

But she did not make it.
