The terrorists, during the attack, killed some of the occupants, injured some while an unspecified number of persons were also abducted.

A staff with the railway corporation explained that Hannah worked with the tea section of the railway services and was on the ill-fated train on Monday evening.

The source said both staff of the corporation, friends and family members were worried about the whereabouts of the young lady.

“They've checked the mortuary among the dead, she's not there, they've checked the hospitals among the injured; she's not there either. Neither is she part of those who came out unhurt. Tensions are high, everybody is worried.

"She is getting married on April 30, 2022. The IV has been sent to the company and preparations are in top gear.”

Hannah is suspected to be among those who were abducted by the terrorists.

However, this cannot be ascertained as the bandits had yet to contact the family of the abducted persons.

Eight persons have been confirmed dead and 26 injured in the attack. There were at least 970 passengers on board the train, according to sources familiar with the train service.

SaharaReporters had reported that a former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala, was among the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers who were shot by terrorists on Monday evening.

Sources also confirmed to SaharaReporters that out of 15 patients brought to St. Gerald's Catholic Hospital in Kaduna, two had been confirmed dead, including a lady medical doctor with the hospital, Chinelo Megafu.

SaharaReporters on Monday night also reported that Muhammad Amin Mahmood, an aspirant in the just-concluded National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Northwest Zonal Youth Leadership, was shot during the attack on Monday.
