UPDATE: Terrorists Abduct Nigerian Customs Officer, Son, Others In Fresh Attack In Kaduna

A Nigerian Customs officer, Muawiyya Gambo Turaki, and his son, Khalifa, have been identified as some of those abducted by bandits during a fresh attack on Kofar Gayan low-cost in Zaria, Kaduna State.

A source in the community had said, “Many people were taken from the Low Cost Housing Estate in Zaria. In our estate, a number of people’s relatives were taken by kidnappers.”
Also, a flyer tagged “Pray for Low Cost, Zaria”, sighted by SaharaReporters, reads, “Low Cost Area in Zaria of Kaduna State is under attacks by bandits right now. Gunmen raided low cost housing estate in Zaria Wednesday night and abducted an unspecified number of persons.”
Kaduna is currently one of the most terrorised states in Nigeria. On Monday, a Kaduna-bound train was attacked by terrorists. Eight persons have been confirmed killed and 26 injured from the attack.
Last Saturday, a large number of terrorists overran the Kaduna airport, killing one person.
