Exclusive: Nigerian Businessman, Emeka Ofor, Frames Son-in-law With Theft, Orders Police Team From Abuja To Arrest Him For Refusing To Apologise After An Argument

SaharaReporters reliably gathered that Ofor while taking out his anger on the young man framed Udu by claiming that he stole a car and thereafter invited the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring team from Abuja to arrest him in Lagos and take him to the Federal Capital Territory.

A Nigerian businessman, Emeka Ofor, has ordered the arrest of his son-in-law, Dr Ugochukwu Udu, 38, for allegedly refusing to apologise to him after an argument.
SaharaReporters reliably gathered that Ofor while taking out his anger on the young man framed Udu by claiming that he stole a car and thereafter invited the Inspector-General of Police Monitoring team from Abuja to arrest him in Lagos and take him to the Federal Capital Territory.

The businessman had earlier falsely accused Udu of harassment and domestic violence, a claim refuted by the medical practitioner's wife.
Despite the denial of Udo's wife of being maltreated by him, Ofor went ahead to use his network in the police to intimidate and unlawfully arrest the young man and have him taken to Abuja for further 'punishment'.
"Dr Udu was abducted and kidnapped by Ofor's men in the police under false pretext of a stolen car.
"It was a false allegation, which his wife refuted.
"This type of abduction is a common occurrence where innocent people are forcefully arrested without committing any offence.
"The police team from Abuja is currently taking the son-in-law to Abuja by road.
"God will expose the politician and his two sons and daughter for the false allegations against Udu," a source aware of the development told SaharaReporters on Saturday.
Spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, Muyiwa Adejobi, said he was not aware of the incident when contacted by SaharaReporters on Saturday evening over the issue.
