Nigerian Government Shouldn’t Ignore Threats By Terrorists To Kill Abducted Train Passengers – Shehu Sani

According to Sani, a similar threat that was ignored months ago led to tragic consequences.

A former federal lawmaker and governorship aspirant in Kaduna State, Senator Shehu Sani, has appealed to the Nigerian government to take the threats made by the terrorists who abducted the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers seriously.

According to Sani, a similar threat that was ignored months ago led to tragic consequences.

The former lawmaker made the plea on Tuesday via his verified Twitter page.

“The threat made by the terrorists who abducted the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers that they will start “killing them in 7 days’ time” should be taken seriously.

“Similar threat was made and ignored two months ago with tragic consequences.” He tweeted.

SaharaReporters earlier reported that abductors of the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers made fresh demands, giving the government seven days to release their children in detention or the remaining abducted passengers would be killed.

It will be recalled that on March 28, at about 10pm, terrorists attacked an Abuja-Kaduna train, killing nine passengers, injuring others and abducting several persons – some of who are still in captivity.
