BREAKING: Osun Police Attack Peaceful Protesters Mourning Technician Killed By Officers, Shoot The Nation Newspaper Journalist, Teenager

The officers who were from Housing Estate Police Station, Ring Road allegedly shot the deceased in the presence of his girlfriend.

The police in Osun state on Tuesday opened fire on peaceful protesters in Osogbo, Osun State, shooting a Nigerian journalist identified as Toba Adedeji.
 
Adedeji, the state correspondent of The Nation Newspaper was shot alongside a teenager at the Olaiya area by lawless officers who wanted to disperse a grieving crowd.

The crowd was said to have converged on the Olaiya bridge to mourn the passage of a technician, Abiola Afolabi, who was shot in the leg by policemen at his friend’s house in the early hours of Monday, April 4, 2022.
