Multiple Victims Confirmed In Another US Mass Shooting In Maryland Manufacturing Building

The police together with Washington County Sheriff's Office stormed the scene around 2:30pm at Columbia Machine in Smithsburg, Maryland, about 75 miles outside of Baltimore.

The United States police have confirmed that multiple people were shot at a manufacturing building in Maryland on Thursday.

"This is a rapidly evolving incident and we will release information as we are able," the sheriff's office stated in the statement posted to Facebook.
However, it was not yet certain how many people were injured or killed in the incident
Lt. Joshua McCauley said while there is no threat to the surrounding community, the scene remains active, according to a CNN report.
Video footage posted to Facebook by an eyewitness near the scene showed police cars rushing past and gunshots could be heard in the background.
Rep. David Trone of Maryland tweeted that his office was "actively monitoring the mass shooting" and is in contact with officials.
"If you're local, please stay away from the area as law enforcement responds," he said.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives office in Baltimore and Maryland state police are also assisting the investigation into the incident.
