Most of the hundreds of inmates at the Kuje correctional facility in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory had escaped, SaharaReporters reported.
Some terrorists on Tuesday had also opened fire on President Muhammadu Buhari’s advance convoy deployed ahead of his trip to Daura, Katsina State for Sallah celebrations.
Aminu Umar, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, was also shot dead by bandits in Katsina State.
The deceased and his team members were ambushed while on a clearance operation in Zakka forest, Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Tuesday.
Sowore in a post on his social media noted that all the incidents happened a few days after the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, banned social activities after 7pm.
The AAC flag bearer tweeted "You woke and clueless President's convoy attacked in Katsina, terrorists took over number 1 prison in the federal capital territory a few days after the Minister bans social activities after 7PM and Zamfara is in a lockdown and Kogi is rigged and you're unconcerned?"

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory had vowed to resist the enforcement of the directive by the FCT Minister, Mohammed Bello, that recreational parks should close by 7pm.
They had described the policy as satanic, barbaric and an attempt to curtail constitutionally guaranteed freedom of movement and association of Nigerians.
