Terrorists have attacked Zuma Army Barracks in Suleja, Niger State, on the outskirts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

SaharaReporters learnt from sources that the attack was carried out on Thursday but the details regarding casualties were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.

"There has been an attack by bandits on Zuma barracks," one of the sources said on Thursday night.

Similarly in March, there was an attack on the barracks in which six soldiers were reportedly killed by bandits.

SaharaReporters had reported that Islamic terrorists ambushed and attacked soldiers responding to a distress call from the Bwari area on Sunday, killing some of the soldiers.

Just last weekend, in a viral video, terrorists threatened to kidnap President Muhammadu Buhari, Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai and senators.
