Terrorists Kidnap Nigerian Elder Statesman, Ango Abdullahi’s Daughter-In-Law A Month After Kidnappers Freed Son

Sadiq was kidnapped along with scores of other passengers on a Kaduna-bound train on March 28.

 

Ango Abdullahi confirmed the fresh attack to the Daily Trust on Wednesday, saying the victim's four children were also kidnapped.

 

"My daughter-in-law, Ramatu Samaila, was among the abductees including her four children. She is the wife of my son-in-law who is the village head of Yakawada,” he said.

 

According to sources, terrorists stormed the residence of Alhaji Rilwanu Saidu, the village head, in Yakawada village in Kaduna's Giwa Local Government Area on Tuesday night.

 

Daily Trust learned that they also kidnapped some victims at the house of the monarch's neighbour after robbing the village head's immediate family.

 

 

 

“They also went to the residence of the neighbour to the village head and kidnapped the household, Abubakar Mijinyawa along with his two wives, namely Aisha and Hajara. And the two wives were both nursing mothers who were abducted with their little babies,” he said.

 

 

 

 

 

The source added that one patrol guard, Aminu Lawal, was slain by the bandits during the attack.

 

 

 

 

 

According to reports, three victims of the incident are being treated at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital in Zaria.

 

 

 

 

 

Ango Abdullahi’s son was among the over 60 passengers abducted on a Kaduna-bound train in March. He was released after four months in captivity.
