Tinubu on Wednesday paid the former president a visit in his Hilltop Home in Abeokuta, Ogun State, during which Obasanjo taunted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for choosing his former deputy, Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate.

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu’s visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a reunion of those who have impoverished Nigerians since 1999.

Reacting to the former Lagos State governor’s visit to Obasanjo on his Twitter page on Thursday morning, Sowore described it as a reunion of “Class of 1999” made up of those who have made sure that Nigerians have no electricity, roads, access to education, human rights or free and fair election

According to the human rights activist, they are now back in 2022 to continue along the same path

He wrote, “Reunion of ‘Class of 1999’ and their minions in Abeokuta, they that made sure you had no electricity, no roads, no access to education, no human rights nor free and fair elections since 1999
