Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Kwara State Command, have been accused of dumping a foreign student in the University of Ilorin, identified as Theophilus Blamoh, in front of his hotel around Total Filling Station, Tanke Oke Odo Area, Ilorin, after he got unconscious while in their custody.
Speaking from his hospital bed, the victim, a student of the Performing Arts Department, stated that he was with two of his friends when they were approached by police officers who ordered them to enter their vehicle.
According to him, the officers recognised one of the students and requested him to leave while instructing him and his friend to enter their vehicle. He claimed that the officers requested for their phones, which they handed over.
