Terrorists Abduct Local Government Chairman From Home In Plateau State

He was said to have been abducted on Wednesday morning in his residence at Kwang in the Jos South local government council of the state.

Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have reportedly kidnapped the Chairman of Kanke Local Government Council of Plateau State, Henry Gotip.
He was said to have been abducted on Wednesday morning in his residence at Kwang in the Jos South local government council of the state.
The terrorists were said to have stormed his house around 1am and started shooting for several minutes to scare people who might try to intervene before gaining entrance into his compound and whisked him away.
Hon Gotip, according to sources is also the Secretary of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Plateau State.
SaharaReporters gathered that the youths of the Kwang and local security otherwise known as vigilante had formed a search-and-rescue team that is currently combing the area. 
SaharaReporters had on Tuesday reported that the Islamic terrorists kidnapped the traditional ruler of Pinau community in the Wase Local Government Area of same state.
The monarch, His Royal Highness, Dauda Mohammed Suleiman, was reportedly kidnapped on Monday night by gunmen who rode on motorcycles.
However, efforts to get the reaction of the Spokesperson for the Plateau state Police Command, Alabo Alfred, were unsuccessful as he did not answer his calls.
