The FCT Permanent Secretary, Mr Olusade Adesola said this in a meeting to address the low compliance by private schools in the FCT on Thursday in Abuja.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has vowed to shut down any private school that fails to comply with the ongoing process of revalidation/registration and data capturing of the Department of Quality Assurance of the Education Secretariat.

The FCT Permanent Secretary, Mr Olusade Adesola said this in a meeting to address the low compliance by private schools in the FCT on Thursday in Abuja.

Adesola who expressed his displeasure with the slow pace of compliance with the exercise by private schools added that the FCT revenue drive by Departments, Boards and Agencies will not be compromised.

He added that the Ministries, Departments and Agencies involved have been given a directive to ensure due diligence regarding their statutory duties and responsibilities. He, however, reiterated the administration's resolve to enforce compliance while frowning on the nonchalant attitude of defaulters.
