Commenting on the prospects of other presidential candidates, Adebayo insisted that he understands the issues far more than any of them.

In the first in a series of interviews with presidential candidates tagged "The Longest Bombardment," Social Democratic Party's (SDP) candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, was the guest of the popular satirical news show, Dr. Damages, hosted by Rudolf Okonkwo.

During the exclusive interview, the SDP candidate said that, unlike him, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, does not have the public's interest at heart. "Anybody who has seen the scorecard of this gentleman (Bola Ahmed Tinubu) would see that every hour he has worked for the public, he has worked 23 hours for himself," Adebayo opined.

The Ondo-born lawyer further said, "We need to create a political space whereby we have a very government and poor politicians, not bankrupt government and wealthy politicians."

Always commenting on the prospects of other presidential candidates, Adebayo insisted that he understands the issues far more than any of them.

"I have the vision of a republic where the resources of the country would be used for the betterment of Nigerians," the SDP candidate explained to the host.

The SDP presidential candidate also described President Buhari's speech at the just concluded United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as a "domestic book of lamentations being read in a diplomatic setting".

He vowed that if he becomes president, he will set his speech at international fora to reflect the national interest rather than litigate the domestic issues.
