AAC Presidential Candidate, Sowore Releases Campaign Account’s Revenue, Expenses For September

The AAC Presidential Candidate on Monday released the details of the inflow and outflow from his presidential campaign account for the month of September in line with the promise of transparency and accountability.
 

 

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the 2023 general elections, has given a detailed account of the expenditure and revenue from funds raised to fund his presidential campaign.
The AAC Presidential Candidate on Monday released the details of the inflow and outflow from his presidential campaign account for the month of September in line with the promise of transparency and accountability.
Sowore had promised to give account of every Kobo he spent in the campaign to Nigerians.
While presenting the account which was published on various social media handles, he said “We promised to account for every "shishi" towards our campaign. Here is the one for September 2022.” #WeCantContinueLikeThis #soworemagashi2023”
In the infograph released on Monday, the Sowore 2023 Campaign Organisation revealed that it had spent a grand total of N2,690,081.51 for its campaign activities for the month of September that ended on 30th.
According to the breakdown: S-PAC 2023 CASH FLOW FOR SEPTEMBER, 2022-1006023871 Gross Receipts September, 2022: N2,195,874.70. “Opening Balance: N875,696.67; Welfare N150,000.00; Subscriptions N6,639.53; Conveyance N1,678,465.00; Party activities N750,000.00; Security N100,000.00 and Bank Charges N4,976.98
“In percentage representation, Activities 27.9%; Security 3.7%; Welfare 5.6%; Conveyance, 62.4% while the Bank Charges 0.2%. Total Payments September, 2022, stands at N2,690,081.51; Opening Balance for preceding period N875,696.67.00; Bank Balance as at 30 Sep, 2022 N381,489.86.00 while the Net cash flow during the period N-494,206.81.”
