Some Nigerians detained in the Kaliti Prison, Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital city, have appealed to the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to come to their aids.

SaharaReporters gathered that over 300 Nigerians were presently languishing in the Ethiopian prison facility.

They were arrested over allegations of possession of hard drugs and money laundering.

He appealed to President Buhari to intervene so they can be transferred to serve the balance of their jail terms in Nigeria.

“Please help us here; we are over 300 Nigerians youths here in Ethiopian prison, no good hospital, no good food. So, many of us are very very sick.

“Please help beg our government to come to our help, if it is possible, let them do prison transfer for us please. The name of the prison is called Kaliti prison here in Ethiopian. We don’t want to die like this.”
