Tragedy hit a section of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State on Monday, as a truck crushed two policemen on a motorcycle to death around Olawuwo area of the state capital.

It was gathered that the driver of the vehicle ran away immediately after the accident.
Residents blamed the incident on the bad condition of the road.
The accident has caused gridlock along the busy road.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims have been deposited in a mortuary.
The police command in the state has yet to comment on the tragic death of the officers.
