The PRP National Chairman, Abdulmajid Daudu disclosed this during the North-East zonal meeting of the party.

Leaders of the People's Redemption Party have declared that they would be forming a political alliance with the African Action Congress (AAC) as the country prepares for the 2023 general elections.

The PRP National Chairman, Abdulmajid Daudu disclosed this during the North-East zonal meeting of the party.

He said the party and AAC were joining forces to give Nigerians an alternative ahead of the elections.

According to Daudu, for them to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, it needs to form an alliance with a party like AAC.

He noted that both parties have expressed willingness to make a formal agreement on the alliance.

“Only AAC and PRP distinguished themselves from other political parties. Under this government, the economy of the country as well as security has deteriorated. We have to bring back sanity in the land,” he said.

Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of AAC would be up against Bola Tinubu, APC standard-bearer, Atiku Abubakar, Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate; Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate, and others in the 2023 elections.

The activist had vowed that the party was ready to beat the godfathers and those aiding and abating them.
