Governor Atiku Bagudu has confirmed that his administration approved the release of N11million to facilitate the recruitment of at least 1,500 Kebbi indigenes into the Nigerian Army 84 Regular Recruits Intake.

The recruitment process consists of screening credentials, physical features, medical tests, oral and written examinations, etc.
The screening exercise is expected to last 14 days, from December 5 to 19, at the One Battalion, Dukku Barracks in Birnin Kebbi.
On Tuesday, Governor Bagudu’s Media aide, Yahaya Sarki, in a statement disclosed the governor’s payment for the recruitment of the indigenes of his state.
The statement according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report quoted the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Babale Umar-Yauri, as saying that “The approval is to facilitate smooth conduct of recruitment exercise of 1,500 candidates from the 21 local government areas of the state.
“They are expected to be screened into the Nigerian Army as regular recruits intake (trade and non-trades men/women).”
