Nigerian Police Neutralise 12 Suspected Terrorists, Kidnappers In Bauchi State

This was according to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Ahmed Wakili, stating that the terrorists were killed in a joint operation carried out by security operatives on Monday.

The Nigeria Police Force, Bauchi State Command has confirmed that its operatives shot dead 12 suspected terrorists including their kingpin, “Madaki Mansur” who had been terrorising residents of Alkaleri Local Governemnt Area as well as neighbouring states of Taraba, Plateau and Gombe. 

This was according to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Ahmed Wakili, stating that the terrorists were killed in a joint operation carried out by security operatives on Monday.

The statement reads: “In our combined efforts to stem the menace of banditry in Bauchi State, especially in Alkaleri L.G.A., the command was at its best recently.

“On 19th December 2022 at about 0230hrs, a Joint Operation of security operatives engaged suspected bandits/kidnappers in four different hideouts; Mansur, Digare, Gwana and Dajin Malam in Alkaleri forest.”

The police spokesman claimed that after a fierce exchange of superior weaponry by the operatives, 12 of the kidnappers were neutralised, while others were subdued, displaced, and scampered in disarray into surrounding bushes with suspected gunshot wounds, abandoning their camp. 

He added that weapons and operational motorcycles were recovered during the operation.
