President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the National Assembly to approve a supplementary budget of N819 billion less than nine days to the end of 2022 fiscal year.
Buhari’s request was read by Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, during the plenary session on Wednesday.
According to the readout, Buhari said the 2022 supplementary budget would be used to finance infrastructural projects across the country.
Buhari said the 2022 flood had affected infrastructure across the country.
