CEO Of Nigerian Airline, Max Air, Bashir Mangal Dies At 65

Mangal, who founded Max Air in 2008 died at the age of 65 years.

Dahiru Barau Mangal, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a Nigeria-based domestic and international airline, Max Air, has been confirmed dead in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Mangal, who founded Max Air in 2008 died at the age of 65 years.

The business mogul’s death was announced in a statement made available by the media consultant to the airline which stated that Mangal died in the early hours of Friday in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.

The statement written in a combination of English and Hausa languages read in part, “Inna lillahi wa inna Ilaihi rajiun, this is to announce the death of our beloved brother Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal Vice Chairman/ CEO Max Air in the early hours of today Friday 23rd December 2022.May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.”
