Some Nigerians have taken to social media to demand the arrest and prosecution of a man seen in a viral video feeding a baby with a smoking substance suspected to be a cigarette.

Another user, @Ezigbo_mmadu aduvsed Nigerians security operative to post his image and declared him wanted to facilitate his arrest.
“I think picking this guy will be easier; if the Nigeria Police social media platforms post him and declare him wanted. Possibly gift a reward to any person that will provide information for his arrest,” he said.
Reacting to the development, the Nigerian Police Force Spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi related the issue to moral decadence in Nigeria.
He said, “Now, u will agree with me, to an extent, that our problems in Nigeria are grossly connected to social decadence. Every problem in Nigeria today is tailored to one societal issue or the other. If we address our societal problems, our general problems in Nigeria are 80% solved.
“Until we arrest them, we won't know what actually happened. The mother might not be there. I gave an analogy that it might be the mother's sister who even took the baby to visit her boyfriend.

“It's not unlikely. Or the house help took her out too. We are making efforts to pick up the guy, and of course, all of them involved will be picked,” he assured.
