Fapohunda disclosed this on Monday at the Nigerian Bar Association’s State of Nation Dialogue with some presidential candidates.
The immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ekiti State, Olawale Fapohunda (SAN) says the only presidential candidate that has a manifesto that addresses administration of justice is Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress.
Fapohunda disclosed this on Monday at the Nigerian Bar Association’s State of Nation Dialogue with some presidential candidates.
“I have looked at the manifestos of the Presidential candidates, only Omoyele Sowore has a manifesto that addressed administration of justice,” the former commissioner said.
NBA had invited the 18 candidates for discussions on security, the economy, and the administration of justice.
When he was called to speak, Sowore took a swipe at the flag-bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu over his absence at the dialogue session.
He said, “You can see that those of us that are present here today are the real candidates.
“At least you can judge for yourselves whether some of us will fall asleep so that you can compare us with the old candidates.”
Sowore, who decried that the current security arrangement in the country was tailored towards the protection of elites, told the audience that Tinubu’s representative, Hassan Liman (SAN) was the one that appeared as government prosecutor when he was tried on trumped up charges that bordered on cyber bullying.
