Political thugs on Saturday morning attacked electorates and observers at polling units in Obiagu Primary School in Ogui New Layout Ward, Enugu North local government area of Enugu State.

In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, Chukwunwike said, "A thug attacked me for observing the process.
"He ordered that I should leave and ceased my phone. Thanks to the Nigerian Army who intervened," he said.
Meanwhile, the vigilant soldiers on election duty saved the day as they quickly intervened and picked the thug after flogging him.
