While Mbah was declared the winner of Uzo-Uwani and Ezeagu LGAs, Edeoga of LP was declared the winner of Igbo-Eze North council area.
The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Enugu State, Mr Peter Mbah, has won two local government areas while the labour party candidate, Chijioke Edeoga has won one so far as the results of Saturday's governorship and House of Assembly elections are being declared at the Collation Centres.
While Mbah was declared the winner of Uzo-Uwani and Ezeagu LGAs, Edeoga of LP was declared the winner of Igbo-Eze North council area.
Announcing the results at the Ezeagu local government headquarters, the collation officer for the governorship election, Dr. F. M. Adeni said Peter Mbah’s PDP got 7,576 votes to win the local government.
The closest contender, Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party garnered 5,949 votes while the APC candidate, Uche Nnaji got 963 votes.
AA got 5 votes, AAC 10 votes, ADC 30 votes, ADP 14 votes, APGA 300 votes, APM 29 votes, APP 11 votes, BP 18 votes, LP 5,949 votes, NNPP 81 votes, NRM 20 votes, PRP 9 votes, SDP 3 votes, YPP 11 votes, and ZLP 12 votes
Mbah scored 7,586 votes also to defeat his closet rival, Chijioke Edeoga of Labour Party in Uzo Uwani Local Government Area who got 5,257 votes.
Also the PDP candidate for Enugu State House of Assembly, Uzo Uwani Constituency, Hon Chukwuma Martins Ekwueme, has been declared the winner of the state Assembly election.
Announcing the result, the returning officer said Ekwueme of the PDP won the state Assembly seat with 6,846 votes to defeat his closest rival, the Labour Party candidate who polled a total of 5,265 votes.
“Chukwuma Martins Ekwueme, having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby returned elected,” the returning officer declared.
APGA got 293 votes, NNPP 062 votes, NRM 18 votes, SDP 1 vote, PRP 4 votes, and YPP 55 votes.
Meanwhile, the Labour Party candidate, Edeoga has been declared the winner at Igboeze North Local Government Area.
In the result announced by Collation Officer for Igboeze North governorship election, Dr. F. E Ikeh, the Labour Party won with 9,955 votes while the PDP trailed got 8,738 votes.
