Sanwo-Olu leads in Agege, Ojo, Alimosho, Lagos Mainland, Ikorodu, Kosofe, Oshodi/Isolo and Somolu local government areas.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress is leading his contenders after the collation of election results from eight local government areas.
Sanwo-Olu leads in Agege, Ojo, Alimosho, Lagos Mainland, Ikorodu, Kosofe, Oshodi/Isolo and Somolu local government areas.
After the collation of the results from the council areas, Sanwo-Olu got 363,910 votes.
His biggest challenger, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party polled 154,022 while Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 30278.
There are 20 local government areas in the state.
