SaharaReporters which has been reporting the story of the stolen woman since September 2022 had reported that 20-year-old Juliet, a twin was stolen from now discovered parents, Mr and Mrs Michael Okwudili when her mother, Gloria delivered her at the defunct Madonna Infirmary Hospital, New Haven Enugu on July 18, 2002.

There is more trouble for Mrs Chidimma Mariatha Agulanna, who was accused of stealing a 20-year-old lady at birth from her biological mother as her second daughter is said to have been equally allegedly stolen from her own mother.

The owner of the hospital, one Doctor Oguannua, was said to have connived with his nurses, one of them identified as Eucharia Udeh now hibernating in the United States to sell the child to Mrs Agulanna immediately she was delivered.

It was reported that Julie as she fondly called, a student of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ebonyi State, mysteriously, but as fate has programmed it, had gone to a shop located at Thinkers Corner, Enugu, a few poles away from her residence to learn hairdressing. That journey, fortunately, has become a journey of new reality as the shop was rented to her trainer (madam) by her biological parents

.

As fate would have it, a woman in the next shop was her real mother. Soon after Julie started learning hairdressing, people visiting the shops began to ask both Julie whether she is the daughter of the woman in the next shop. The same question was also being asked to Gloria whether she is the mother of Julie because they resembled each other.

While the argument and question continued, Julie reportedly sought for a paternity test to put to an end the rumours and embarrassment. To their greatest surprise when a DNA test was conducted, the result returned 99.99 per cent positive, showing that she is actually the daughter of Okwudilis.

Although, the Okwudilis, native of Ogbunike in Oyi local government area of Anambra State are yet to get back their daughter, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and other related matters (NAPTIP), which is investigating the disappearance of the lady since her birth had taken them to a confirmatory DNA test and the result is awaited.

However, while the NAPTIP investigation is ongoing, the biological parents of Mrs Agulanna’s 17-year-old daughter named Chika Agulanna have come for her, SaharaReporters learnt on Monday.

A source told SaharaReporters that Mrs Agulanna allegedly took Chika from her biological mother when she was barely two weeks of birth.

According to the source, Chika’s mother got pregnant when she was a teenager and ran away from her family to hide it. “It was at the cause of running away having nobody to take care of her that Agulanna reportedly met her where she was wandering and took her. She hibernated until she delivered, now Chika. Few days after delivery, Mrs Agulanna reportedly gave Chika’s mother N15,000 and pushed her away and warned her never to show face again. Although, Mrs Agulanna was said to have taken good care of her and paid all the medical bills Chika’s mother reportedly incurred from the pregnancy.”

The source further, noted that after pushing away Chika’s mother, Mrs Chidinma and her husband Lawrence Ukachi Agulanna relocated to their village Nnarambia in Ahiara, Ahiazu Mbaise local government area of Imo state, where the little Chika was raised before returning to Enugu where they also built a house.

A close relation of Agulanna told SaharaReporters that the bubble burst recently when SaharaReporters published the stories of Juliet with the picture of the Agulanna. According to the insider source, Chika’s mother who has married for years without a child saw Agulanna’s picture and told the husband her past. “With the report, Chika’s mother and her husband whom SaharaReporters could not independently ascertain whether he is the biological father of Chika traced their way to Agulanna’s house recently and demanded for their child.

"Mrs Agulanna was reported to have told them to return home and come next time to enable her to communicate the development to her husband who was not available when they came.”

Although Chika is still with Mr/Mrs Agulannas, trouble is said to be brewing as Chika’s mother is said to be preparing to reclaim her child.
