The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abdussamad Dasuki, has been declared the winner of the Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency Election in Sokoto State.
According to Prof. Abubakar Muhammed on Sunday, the returning officer, Dasuki polled 47,317 votes to defeat his biggest challenger, Kokani Bala Kebbe of the All Progressives Congress, who polled 34,282 votes.
Dasuki is a former Commissioner of Finance in Sokoto and served in the Nigerian House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019, representing Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency.
