No fewer than 12 young boys and girls have been arrested by members of the Islamic police, known as the Hisbah Committee in Kebbi State, Northwest Nigeria.

The commandant of the committee, Ustaz Suleiman Muhammad, told journalists on Thursday that the culprits had confessed to their crimes, Leadership reports.
"The committee warned the owners of the hotel against accommodating underage customers or young boys and girls and also warned the culprits against going for outings without the consent of their parents.
"Parents of the culprits are warned to always keep vigil over their children and wards to know their whereabouts at any given time.
"The committee has since reunited the arrested children with their parents after they signed an undertaking not to commit similar offence in future," the commandant said.
