The Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has called for global sanctions on Russia after at least 12 people were confirmed killed and 10 residential buildings destroyed in Russia’s fresh Missiles and UAVs attack.

President Zelenskyy on Friday morning said on his Twitter handle that Russia attacked Uman City in the south of Kyiv on Thursday night with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), killing seven people and destroying 10 residential buildings.

“Another night of terror. Missiles and UAVs. 10 residential buildings are damaged in Uman. The entire block of one of them is destroyed.

“As of now, 7 dead, there are wounded. Evil can be stopped by weapons – our defenders are doing it. And it can be stopped by sanctions – global sanctions must be enhanced,” Zelenskyy tweeted.

Meanwhile, an update on the attack by Ukraine’s Interior Minister, Ihor Klymenko, showed that the death toll had risen to 12 at the time of filing this report.
