Gunmen Kill Imo Governor, Uzodinma’s Kinsman, Tony Enoch Who Chaired Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign

The slain Enoch, who was the Presidential Campaign Council Chairman for APC (Ahmed Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima) 2023 Presidential election in Oru-East was allegedly shot dead on Tuesday night while returning from stakeholders meeting at the Oru- East council headquarters.
 

Some hoodlums have reportedly killed Governor Hope Uzodinma's kinsman who is also a retired Nigerian Army captain, Tony Enoch.
The slain Enoch, who was the Presidential Campaign Council Chairman for APC (Ahmed Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima) 2023 Presidential election in Oru-East was allegedly shot dead on Tuesday night while returning from stakeholders meeting at the Oru- East council headquarters.
It was gathered that the hoodlums after allegedly killing him around the Awomama Technical School area of Oru-East dumped his remains in his car boot.

A community source revealed that the deceased was ambushed by armed men, who forcefully ordered him to park his car before he was shot dead and dumped inside the boot.

It was also gathered that the deceased appeared to have been killed by three gunshots to his head at the time his lifeless body was found on Tuesday night.

The lifeless body of the deceased according to various accounts was found by passersby who saw traces of blood under a parked car before raising the alarm that attracted the residents of the community.

Meanwhile, SaharaReporters could not get official reaction of the police or the Imo State Government over the unfortunate incident.

However, the Command's Spokesperson, Henry Okoye, was reported to have told journalists in Owerri, the Imo State capital that he was yet to be briefed on the incident.

He noted however, that information about the incident would be made public once details are available.
