The group made this known in a statement posted on its verified Twitter handle, demanding for an immediate remedy for Nasirudeen for the injury suffered during the course of his employment.

Human rights and pro-democracy group, the Take-It-Back Movement (TIB), has berated an Indian-owned company, Lucky Steel Industrial Limited for allegedly abandoning its worker, Nasirudeen Ishola who lost three of his fingers due to an accident he suffered during the course of his work.
The group made this known in a statement posted on its verified Twitter handle, demanding for an immediate remedy for Nasirudeen for the injury suffered during the course of his employment.
The TIB added that it would not hesitate to seize all lawful means within its disposal to ensure Nasirudeen was duly compensated for the irreparable loss.
According to the statement, the group asserted that Lucky Steel Industrial Limited that deals in construction, production of Aluminum, Iron, and Steel refused to take up the responsibility to ensure the 26 years old worker got the deserved medical treatment as a worker who got injured while serving the company.
The movement explained that the company which was known for unfair labour practices usually paid Nasirudeen N15,000 only after subjecting him, and others to eleven hours of work with no health insurance, nor a single working benefit as required by law.
The statement reads in part; "26 years old Nasirudeen Ishola suffered a workplace accident while working on the night shift as a staff of Lucky Steel Industrial Limited: an Indian owned company that deals in construction, production of Aluminum, Iron, and Steel.
"The tragic incident which occurred on the 19th of May, 2023 caused three of his fingers to be amputated. More pathetic is the fact that the 26 years old has been completely abandoned to his fate, unable to work and without a single compensation from the Indian-owned company.”
"We condemn this in strongest terms, and will not hesitate to seize all lawful means within our disposal to ensure Nasirudeen is duly compensated for this irreparable loss," the statement added.
