Nigerian High Court Judges To Commence Annual Vacation From July 24

The Nigerian Federal High Court Headquarters has stated that the court judges and other staff will commence their annual vacation from the 24th day of July, 2023 to 15th day of September, 2023.

According to the statement, only three divisions of the court will be in operation during the period of vacation.

The statement reads: “By virtue of the provisions of Order 46Rule 4 (d) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019, the Federal High Court will commence its Annual Vacation for the Year 2023 from Monday, the 24th day of July 2023 to Friday, the 15th day of September, 2023. The Court shall resume sitting on Monday, the 18th day of September, 2023.

“The Court will not be completely shut down during this period, as such, the three core Divisions of the Court will be open to the general public to attend to only matters of extreme urgency.

“Consequently, the Litigating public will be at liberty to approach ONLY the under-listed functional Courts located nearest to them.”

The statement added only courts located at Abuja, Lagos and Port- Harcourt would not be on vacation.
