According to the RSBC Director of Administration, Pastor Ebi Ogolo, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, Anthony-Nwokocha was abducted between Slaughter and the YKC area of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Friday evening on her way home from work.
Some gunmen have reportedly abducted the Director of News of the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation (RSBC), Priestba Anthony-Nwokocha.
According to the RSBC Director of Administration, Pastor Ebi Ogolo, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, Anthony-Nwokocha was abducted between Slaughter and the YKC area of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Friday evening on her way home from work.
Ogolo called on security agencies in the state to urgently intervene and ensure Anthony-Nwokocha's quick and safe release from her abductors.
He said that the Rivers State Police Command had been notified of Anthony-Nwokocha's abduction, however, the police had not made an official statement on the matter at the time of filing this report.
