Kayode Fayemi; An Ekiti Failure And June 12 Double Agent, Cannot Discredit The History Of 2012 Occupy Nigeria! By Kunle Wizeman Ajayi
September 5, 2023

I have just read a statement by Kayode Fayemi, the smile-looking former governor who failed to grow and develop Ekiti for eight years, saying the Occupy Nigeria in 2012 was political and wrong on the Uprising Against Fuel Subsidy Removal.

As usual, Fayemi's statement follows the words of state agents speaking to stop any public anger tommorow whether on the #FeesMustFall; #LetThePoorBreathe Strike by NLC; or even if Obi-dients finally summon courage and #Sorosoke after Tinubu is rigged in again at the courts.

According to the obviously lying Former Governor of Ekiti, “All political parties in the country agreed and they even put in their manifesto that the subsidy must be removed. We all said the subsidy must be removed. But we in ACN at the time, in 2012, we know the truth, Sir, but it is all politics"

For those who care to know, I am a living witness and actively partook in the leadership of the January Uprising Against Fuel Subsidy Removal in 2012. The protests were engineered nationwide by the Joint Action Front (JAF) and the United Action For Democracy (UAD). When the actions became massive on the streets, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) declared and indefinite strike. This effectively put the Labour bureaucracy at the head of the mass movement.

While it was the Joint Action Front (JAF) that kicked off the initiative of an Occupy Nigeria convergence at Ojota, through celebrities; the Occupy Nigeria Movement took it over. This had persons like Tunde Bakare, Pat Utomi, Femi Kuti, and many others as big faces who only came occasionally to speak with the protesters.

Like it happened in the EndSARS, the press focused on the celebrities (many of whom were/are political harlots.) And also, many of them came out to get more popular with the crowd. We saw many artistes doing this during the EndSARS. They only came for the crowd. These celebrities ended up supporting the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). But did that say ACN orchestrated the EndSARS?

At the last elections, many celebrities who didn't even appear more than once or twice at the EndSARS protests are supporting Labour Party of Peter Obi. Does that mean LP or Obi orchestrated the EndSARS? No! Both Obi and Atiku only tweeted once (just go satisfy the online mass!)

MC Oluomo, the wide Chief-thug of Tinubu, also sent food and drinks to the Alausa barricade of the EndSARS, it was rejected. But is it not because he is popular, and Comrades were vigilant and fully in charge of the barricades? What about some other APC moneybags who secretly sent in foods and drinks at the protests?

Mass protests like  Anti-SAP, June 12 Revolts, Occupy Nigeria, EndSARS were led and mobilized for by Leftists and Revolutionaries. To destroy such history and the proper lessons from such, ruling class parties plant agents amidst the crowd and leaderships. At least, runaways like Tinubu and Kayode Fayemi who never led a single protest nor even have any real effect during June 12 struggles later started rewriting history for generations to believe they actually led same.

Fayemi cannot write the history of Occupy Nigeria of 2012. Naija people know their history, and this Coconut generation will never allow Pseudos and agents to deepen their opportunistic lies into our recent events. Of course, when the true people's revolution comes, all fake histories will be expunged.

Stop lying from your deceitful gap teeth, Fayemi. The truth is public!
