The group accused Mosadoluwa of engaging over 30 police orderlies to perpetrate criminalities in the state including attempted murder.

Some public interest lawyers under the aegis of Lawyers for Reform Group (LRG) have raised concerns again over the alleged criminal activities of one Mr Urakat Audullahi, who also uses the name - Saheed Mosadoluwa, aka Ibile, a land grabber in Lagos State.

SaharaReporters reported on Thursday that LRG had called on the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun to order a thorough investigation into the alleged use of police orderlies for land-grabbing, brutality among others in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

The group accused Mosadoluwa of engaging over 30 police orderlies to perpetrate criminalities in the state including attempted murder.

However, the lawyers' group in a statement made available to SaharaReporters on Monday, which was signed by its Executive Project Director Aare Oladotun Hassan, accused Mosadoluwa of threatening Chief Adetunji Fasasi, the Baale of Ilamija Village, Ibeju-Lekki.

The group accused Ibile and his gang of brutalising Adetunji in his house and stripping him naked in another attack on peaceful communities in Lagos state by land grabbers.

The lawyers called on President Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), National Security Adviser, Egbetokun and the state police commissioner to jointly and immediately commence due diligent investigation to prosecute anyone found culpable accordingly.

The statement read, "The Lawyers for Reform Group is aghast to receive several responses to our clarion call against the most dreaded land grabber Ibile who gruesomely attacked and shot severally at Chief Adetunji Yusuf Hassan Fasasi Baale of Ilamija Village, Ibeju-Lekki.

"We call on President Bola Ahmed and well-meaning Nigerians for rescue.”

The lawyers alleged that "Adetunji's village was not only invaded and ransacked, but he was also attacked at his residence with truckloads of cultists, policemen and beaten up to stupor, and subsequently, dragged to Oba Kamorudeen Animashaun the Oloja of Epe's Palace wherein they stripped him naked before the public, streamed live on several social media platforms.

"We are aware the Baale of Ilamija is in imminent danger of execution, hence our demand for a thorough investigation into the several incidences that had gone unnoticed.

"We make bold to say that this dreaded group has constituted themselves into terrorist groups terrorising the good people of Lagos State, in gross violation of the extant laws and constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria respectively."
