Some gunmen have attacked students of the Isa Mustapha Agwai l Polytechnic in Lafia, Nasarawa State, shooting some of them and kidnapping a female student.

The students, who sustained gunshot injuries, were said to be receiving treatment in a hospital.
SaharaReporters on Friday reported how some gunmen suspected to be terrorists also kidnapped from the Federal University in Gusau, Zamfara State.
The gunmen had invaded the students’ residence at Sabon-Gida identified as Nazeer Sabon-Gida and taken away some female students of the school, whose number could not be ascertained.
A few hours later, the Nigerian Army announced that it had rescued six of the students after a gun battle with the terrorists.
Meanwhile, others remain with the terrorists.
