Boko Haram Insurgents Attack Yobe State, Kill 10 Mourners Days After Massacre Of 16 People

SaharaReporters gathered that the bomb which exploded in Goni in Mittiri village near Gumsa town in Gaidam Local Government Area of the State killed several persons. 

No fewer than 10 mourners were killed in Yobe State on Tuesday evening when a tricycle  was struck by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by Boko Haram terrorists.

SaharaReporters gathered that the bomb which exploded in Goni in Mittiri village near Gumsa town in Gaidam Local Government Area of the State killed several persons. 

It was gathered that the victims had gone for a burial of 16 people who were killed on Monday when Boko Haram attacked Ngouro Kiyeyya with bomb explosives.

According to Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst and Counterinsurgency Expert in Lake Lake Chad, six people died immediately and four died while being evacuated, while another four victims who sustained minor injuries were left in the village but two others who sustained serious injuries were rushed to the General Hospital in Geidam.
