The singer made this known on his Instastories, Terry G, while accusing some members of the party of “chopping” his money, adding that he wanted God’s intervention on the matter.

 

A Nigerian singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known by the stage name Terry G, has called out some members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) for failing to pay him the money he “worked for” during the last campaign for the general elections.

The singer made this known on his Instastories, Terry G, while accusing some members of the party of “chopping” his money, adding that he wanted God’s intervention on the matter.

“For the people or whoever wey chop the money I worked for this apc campaign matters so make he no worry say nothing don do them o, l leave am to God, it's only a matter of time.....G,” the singer wrote.

SaharaReporters learned that Terry G who is from Benue State joined the growing number of Nigerian entertainers who were supporting the national campaign for Change of the All Progressives Congress (APC), touted as the largest political party in Africa.

He had met with former Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State in the entourage led by the popular gospel singer Kenny Saint Best. Other entertainers in the entourage had included Dammy Krane, Omo Akin, Azadus, Kawswitch and Olu Maintain.

Majority of the actors in Nollywood had also supported the APC and the leading Fuji musician in Nigeria, Wasiu Ayinde, aka KWAM 1 and others had joined the movement for a new government to vote out the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015.

They had said they sought to end the PDP-led 15 years of “widespread national insecurity and maladministration.”
