Popular Nollywood actor and movie director, Azeez Ololade Ijaduade has reportedly been shot by a policeman in Iperu, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.

One of Ijaduade’s colleagues in the Nigerian movie industry, Abiodun Adebanjo, posted on Instagram on Sunday, “Pls we Need all the help we can get !!!

“I repeat this is no joke or cruise…

“Anybody with The POLICE IG or COMMISSIONER contact should help US reach out..

“@kingzeez1 has been shot by a Nigeria Police personnel.”

“Please we need help in Iperu. My Director @kingzeez1 was shot by a Nigeria police personal. Presently at Babcock University teaching hospital… Pls we need help.”

Ijaduade is the son of popular Yoruba actor and producer, Waheed Ijaduade. 

 

His popularity came as a young actor after his role as Ola in the 1994 movie, Jensimi alongside his father.

 

Efforts to reach the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, were not unsuccessful.
