A Nigerian blogger and social media influencer based in Manchester, England, Bukky Jesse, has intensified her cyberbullying of the wife of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Bukky Jesse in a Facebook and Instagram live of over three hours accused Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi of using the media to gather the records she will use at the embassy of a foreign country to seek asylum and flee Nigeria with her son, Liam.
Jesse also lambasted Mohbad’s mother, Olumiyi.
She said she was daft, wicked and making the same mistake that made her leave Mohbad’s father.
SaharaReporters had reported that Bukky Jesse accused Wunmi of killing her husband and taking possession of Mohbad’s properties.
The blogger had said, “We will meet in court on Wednesday. The court will tell us if Mohbad’s father has no right to ask for a DNA test.
“If you are not an unfortunate person, someone who killed her husband to enjoy life, go and tell your bloggers that I am lying that your mum confirmed that she has two acres of land belonging to Mohbad in her possession.”
SaharaReporters also reported how Wunmi had raised an alarm over threats to her life and that of her son amid the cyberbullying against them.
According to her, the threats and cyberbullying were orchestrated by Mohbad’s father whom she alleged had been fighting to take full possession of her husband’s properties.
Meanwhile, Mohbad’s father has denied the allegations.
Wunmi lamented that several people had been threatening to kill her and her son to pave the way for Mohbad’s father to have full access to the late singer’s properties, noting that the threats and the bullying became too much that she became depressed and fell sick for some days.
Bukky Jesse on Facebook and Instagram said, “You see all what they are doing, she (Wunmi) wants to use it to travel. If Mohbad's father's lawyer did not act fast, Wunmi is keeping records and those are what she would take to the embassy to travel out, to get asylum.
“If Mohbad's father's lawyer did not act fast, you see all what she is doing, she is doing them to keep records.
“So when she gets to the embassy, she will sneak out and they will tell you that they are protecting her life. She is doing all these because of her lawyer's instruction for record-keeping.
“This is because if you visit any embassy to apply for asylum, you need a record. Baba Mohbad solicitor needs to act fast.
“If the inquest is wasting time, we go to the High Court. There is no need to establish the cause of his (Mohbad) death. If we reach the High Court, we can establish it there.
“That inquest, they are just using it to waste our time, to frustrate us so that people will forget about the case. I am telling you free of charge now.”
Lambasting Mohbad’s mother, Bukky Jesse said, “She (Mohbad’s mother) said his father did not give room for her children and Mohbad’s wife to be with her. Iya Mohbad (Mohmad’s mum), you are a very-very daft woman.
“I earlier said if you are reading a script, you should have been doing that a month before (you come for an interview).
“Why are you so wicked? What did Mohbad did to you? Should we be regretting for allowing you to come to his life? I remember vividly that you were the one that made a mistake which made you leave (Mohbad’s father).
“I can’t blame you for that because if marriage is not fruitful to someone, she would leave. Baba (Mohbad’s father) earlier said he did not block you.
“If you can’t come to the house to look at your children, you can’t go to their school and you did not challenge him.”
SaharaReporters reported on Sunday that over 400 people had signed a petition demanding urgent action on cyberbullying against Mohbad's wife and son.
Justice For Mohbad Movement Group which launched the petition stated that the petition was started to draw the South African Police Service’s immediate attention to a grave and distressing matter concerning the cyberbullying and threats directed at Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi and their eight-month-old son, Liam, by individuals identified as Adeshina Kabiru (alias Hayat) and Cele SA.
410 people had signed the petition at around 8 pm on Sunday.
“This malicious online behavior has not only caused significant emotional distress to his mother and his family but also poses a serious threat to his safety and well-being,” the petition on change.org reads.
The petitioners said that Liam and her mother had been subjected to relentless cyberbullying, including verbal abuse, insults, curses, and direct threats to life, by the aforementioned individuals.
“The nature and frequency of these online attacks have escalated to an alarming level, creating a hostile environment for Liam and his family,” it said
