In the video, a group of FRSC officers were seen shouting on and dragging two soldiers who also attempted to beat up some of the FRSC officers.

Some personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigerian Army have been captured on camera fighting dirty in Lagos State.

This was seen in a short clip uploaded on Tuesday morning on X platform (formerly Twitter).

“Shameless act caught on camera between FRSC and Nigeria Soldiers,” the video was captioned by a witness.

In the video, a group of FRSC officers were seen shouting on and dragging two soldiers who also attempted to beat up some of the FRSC officers.

The reason for the rift between the two law enforcement agencies was yet to be ascertained by SaharaReporters as at the time of filing this report.

Reacting to this video, another user, LAGOS ROAD USER, said the environment appeared like
Ojodu head office in Lagos State.

He continued: “I believe the erring officials should be formally reported for proper punishment not jungle justice. This is an embarrassment to both uniforms.”

Meanwhile, some netizens said that there was a high tendency that the Nigerian Army would launch a revenge attack.

“The return match of this fight go too loud. Just Pray that you’re not unfortunate to be in the vicinity when that happens,” Ọ̀gbẹ́ni Abíọ́dún said.

“The return leg no go funny ooo. By the time those soldiers come back ehn,”
another X user, Sherif Ogirima.

“Make that place empty for 1 week because the army comback go bloody,”
@EMANIE_1 said.

“Na wa o. Nigerian Army no get value again? Imagine using your boot on a soldier 20 years ago. That was close to signing a death warrant,” another user,  Last Stylebender.

In a similar event, SaharaReporters had reported in November 2023 how there was pandemonium during the week in Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State as two soldiers and some policemen engaged in a fight over alleged violation of traffic rules.

SaharaReporters gathered that the soldiers who drove a motorcycle against traffic were stopped by a female police officer.
